A damaru is a two-headed drum, that traditionally symbolizes harmony between the dualities of life.

The Damaru album is a collection of Sanskrit chants about Adiyogi the first yogi and guru, who has transcended all dualities and qualities, who defies all definition. The Yogic Lore says that on the day of Guru Purnima, he decided to offer the science to the first seven disciples, who are, now, celebrated as the Saptharishis. This album is an offering to the Adiyogi on the occasion of Guru Purnima. We hope Damaru resonates with all who hear it and awakens a longing to seek the beyond.
