Phil and Brenda Nicholas return to the scene, after more than a 10 year layoff, with a very contemporary, hot new single “He’s Been Good”. This song which features great vocals over a smokin’ hot track, should propel them back to the top of the charts. After taking a number of years off to concentrate on raising their “special needs son”, the Nicholases have emerged back on the Gospel scene with an incredible new project entitled “BreakThrough (Songs of Encouragement”. This CD is destined to have at least eight #1 singles! The Grammy nominated duo topped the charts in the late 80’s and early 90’s with a variety of hits such as, “The Closer I Get To You”, “God’s Woman”, “Tell Somebody”, “Dedicated”, “A Love Like This” - to name a few. They’ve returned to the scene with a vengeance. The single “He’s Been Good” exhibits the couple’s unique vocal abilities along with outstanding musical arrangements. The song, originally penned by Stan Jones and co-produced by Mel Holder appears to be a real winner. It’s obvious that they were in the “woodshed” during their time off, as no rust accumulated on their abilities.
