The Protest's sophomore effort "Great Lengths" was a labor of love. The band spent countless hours in the studio working on this album and truly was a labor of love for them. The album title is derived from the obstacles the band went through during the process of this record and the artwork (created by drummer Jarob Bramlett) symbolizes everyone's individual walk through overwhelming obstacles in life. This album deviates a little from their last album being a little heavier in nature, that being said fans of the band's first record "Game Changer" will not be disappointed. Great Lengths has many factors that made the first album so special.This band is madly in love with Jesus Christ and want this record to reach people in a non judgmental and relatable way. The album was produced and tracked by Mark Anthony of "The Letter Black" fame and mixed by Matthew Dougherty at Groove Master Studios in Chicago. Fans of Avenged Sevenfold, Metallica, and Disciple will be especially pleased with Great Lengths.
