Towers of Temple City is a group started by songwriters John Torres and Tim Kobza, with the help of fellow artists and musicians Will Collyer, Max Mueller, and Jake Reed. The music could be described as Indie Folk, in the style of Simon and Garfunkle, The Shins or Jose Gonzalez. Thoughtful lyrics, honesty, and a poignant message are the heart of every ToTC song. The group is based out of Los Angeles, and has adopted the philosophy of releasing singles instead of albums, as a means of focusing on the crafting of each and every release.
