Shaggy is a progressive rockband from the 70´s, formed by Thomas Ryan, Fidde Rognås, Thomas Engström, Jan Gustavsson and Kurt Kästner in 1972. The band played numerous gigs all over Sweden and won a lot of respect for their originality.

In 1975 they recorded their first and only album " Lessons For Beginners" . Later that year they opened for British glamrocker "The Sweet" at Scandinavium, Gothenburg. In 1978 Shaggy split up, just before the second album should be recorded. But the band reformed again in 2008 and a decision was made to record the old songs that supposed to be on their 2nd album in 1978.

The results is a 12 track album, named "Destination Nowhere".
