Best Intentions is the first full length studio album by We Are the In Crowd (WATIC), scheduled for release on October 4, 2011. The lead single, "Rumor Mill", was released July 26, 2011. WATIC announced the album title and its release date on August 3 and allowed pre-sale orders for the album the same day. We Are The In Crowd is a pop-punk band from Poughkeepsie, New York.The band consists of Taylor Jardine (vocals), Jordan Eckes (guitar/vocals), Mike Ferri (bass), Rob Chianelli (drums), and Cameron Hurley (guitar). They released their debut EP, Guaranteed To Disagree,on June 8, 2010. We Are The In Crowd performed on the Vans Warped Tour for Summer 2010. In April 2009, the band's MySpace page was hacked. The hacker deleted all of the band's friends and music. The music site, Absolutepunk.net, posted a news article about the hacking. The news post attracted the attention of someone at Hopeless Records who reached out to the band shortly after. On November 10, 2009, the band announced signing with Hopeless Records as "The In Crowd" and released their first single "For The Win" on iTunes. The band changed their name to "We Are The In Crowd" due to trademark issues with a reggae band from the seventies who were also called "The In Crowd" In February 2009, We Are The In Crowd recorded their debut Hopeless Records EP with Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount (All Time Low, Mayday Parade, Jimmy Eat World, Cartel). The EP, titled Guaranteed To Disagree, was released on June 8, 2010. The music video for 'Both Sides of the Story' was officially released on October 15, 2010. The music video for 'Never Be What You Want' was released on April 20, 2011. They will be entering the studio in early May 2011 to begin recording their full length debut. According to a post made by Keagan Ilvonen on 3 July 2011, on AbsolutePunk.net We Are The In Crowd had finished recording their debut full length. On August 3rd, 2011 it was announced the album would be titled "Best Intentions" and that it would be released October 4th.
