Sun Sun Glow came to be when songwriter Sall Gibson joined forces with producer/ musician Jordan Payne (Blind Tiger, Tiger & Skyscraper) and engineer/musician Michael Saunders (Wish). The album demo (Plaster EP) caught the attention of the Alberta Foundation for the Arts and granted Sall full funding for a Commercial Recording. Sun Sun Glow features Emily Gibson, Stacy Arbeau, Sean Macintosh, Catherine Hiltz Jordan Payne, Michael Saunders, Mike Kent and Sall Gibson. About Sall: Sall’s songwriting has earned her a FACTOR Professional Demo Grant (2005), and full funding for a Commercial Recording from The Alberta Foundation for the Arts (2008). Through the creation of her indie label redRUGrecords and design company GIGgraphics, she has booked, promoted and managed four Western Canada tours, opened for the Juno award winning band the Wailing Jennies and recorded with members of the band Spirit of the West. Sun Sun Glow is Sall's third album, preceded by Here Nor There (2004) and Simply Undone (2006).
