Hailing from Miami, Florida Jason and Jino is gradually emerging full force on the music scene, lyrically inclined and musically divine with a river of talent flowing wide and deep. Influenced by the Hip-hop and R&B music genre since early childhood, 17 year old Jason Jean-Baptiste and 18 year old Jino Valsaint became known as the group Take Note, which is everyone’s natural reaction to the duo’s smooth, sultry and harmonious delivery. As one half of the duo, Jason also known as J-Dub was born in Miami to Dominican and Haitian parents. “Music is everything to me,” said Jason who is completely dedicated to his craft. His confidence and warm personality compliments his lyrical flow and artistic readiness. Jason is always willing and eager to express himself, create music. As the other half of the duo, Jino Valsaint, was born in the Bahamas, his upbringing in the church has created a deep, soulful and spiritual approach to his musical delivery. His appreciation for recording stars such as Michael Jackson and Ginuwine tells of his aim for creativity and longevity, as well as the importance of choreography. He has developed a unique style of performing and continues to add his own flavor to popular dance moves. The Miami based two-some have been friends since early childhood growing up in their North Miami neighborhood. Take Note’s sound embraces Rhythm and Blues with influences of Hip-hop and Pop. With talent combined Jason and Jino’s impressive roster of songs range from topics of romance to deliverance. Their light-hearted demeanor is evident in songs such as ‘Reminiscing,’ their first single. Groomed and guided by Double Exposure’s Angelo Ellerbe, Jason and Jino are poised, ready and positive.
