Rebecca Klemm, PhD, founder of NumbesAlive! is an award-winning author, statistician, storyteller, and advocate for numerical literacy. She tells number stories as The Numbers Lady at schools, libraries, including the Library of Congress, festivals, maker faires, and conferences. Emmy Award winning Composer and Music Director, Mark Heyes, along with collaborator Sam Winans, joins Rebecca Klemm and NumbersAlive to present a unique and entertaining collection of songs about numbers to excite children and give educators another tool to motivate students to learn about numbers at an early age. Mark has worked on over 600 episodes of television, with a particular passion for family and children's programming. While still in High School, he recorded his first album of oiginal songs with music greats Larry Carlton, Hal Blaine, Joe Osborne and Larry Knechtel. After several years performing in the midwest and Southern California, he settled into the world of songwriting and film music. In 2002 he won the BMI Award for composing the Main Title to the highest rated new series of the season, He continues to live and work in the Southern California area and is still very active in the songwriting and film music industries.
