Rowe, who co-founded the company with childhood friend and comrade Ray Mallory, first approached Yung Slab in 2004 about putting together a music company upon hearing of his stepson tearing up South Arkansas clubs with a posse cut aptly titled “The Party Joint”. The dream soon became a vision as the groundwork for building a label began with Yung Slab as its foundation to build upon. Officially released in the fall of 2008, Slab’s debut, Natural Hawggin’, bleeds the blood of a RAZORBACK.
