Mara Shea plays a wide variety of dance music--English country dance, Scottish country dance, contra dance, and highland dance. She plays a five-string violin, which lends a mellow, alto sound to the violin voice. Her "Spring Garden" and other English country dance tunes that are available as singles are ideal for English country dance teachers to use in classes.
