简介

There was once a young man who fell so deeply in love with a girl that he couldn’t see she wasn’t his angel. He thought he knew how it was going to go and supposed to be. Confused but confident he kept going on with her, despite what was happening. As time went on she started to break him, yet he loved her more than anything. One day it occurred to him that she was the actual broken one, so he pieced himself together again. Only with memories of their time together could he ask why it happened that way. Then one day, in another land, he moved on to a point beyond return. by my cousin, Sierra // Thank you to my family for the support, specifically my dad for getting me into music and through production of the album. Thank you to my friends as well for the amazing support and help getting myself out there. finn // The first two tracks are slightly different in style than the rest of the album. "Reruns" is inspired by the electronic music and ukulele phase going through the internet right now, and "on and on" fit best with a raw and clean rock undertone. “Lovesick” was the original song for the album which inspired the gritty feel you get in a few of the songs that follow - I am really pleased with how the writing and production of this song turned out, especially how it develops towards the refrain. The mix on the next two songs felt wet compared to the rest of the album so they both have water in their names. “Six feet under water” gives a message of strength through the underlying helpless feeling deeper in. “It’s pouring you're leaving” expresses simple, shaky, uncertain loneliness. Palisades is an interlude which made me feel like I was falling. The situation behind losing light is the unspoken dialogue that happens between two people, one who does not understand and won’t hear the other in the chorus giving them the reason. Stronger moves on to acceptance, a happy song about the upside. The final two songs represent a feeling of unsureness. Still winter is a happy memory masked by the realization of drifting in and out of togetherness. It pairs well with 11:30 in London a cry for a friend’s help. // Thank you for listening.
