简介
Monotronique returns from his brief absence with his latest collection of genre dodging that make make up the Desert Space EP. Starting off the with title track Desert Space. which reels together a bag of acid like laser synths and highly compressed high end percussion to kick off the 20 minute electronic journey. We roll straight into the more recognizable structure of Switch next which leads with moog like lead bass sounds and with stuttering hi hats and chopped breaks samples for the mains. However its a return to syncopated expanse as we move on again to Abyss. Bubbly sampling combined with an expanse of movement on around 70HZ mark and breathy reverbs leave the listener swimming in electronic bliss. The EP is rounded off with Aerotonins nuclear reaction remix of Desert Space. The entire layout of the track has been completely redesigned and boosted yet it still holds on to the fundamental skeleton of the original, something a lot of remixes tend to be lacking in this modern era of electronic music. Monotronique is not fresh to the scene, already having support from respectable DJ's such as Akito, Feadz, Gage, Iglew, Utah?, Slimzee and Louisahhh! on a wide array of different radio shows (Rinse Fm, NTS, Radar Radio and more). Whilst also gaining early support on the title track 'Desert Space' from Bloom on his Boiler Room set. Keep a keen eye on Monotronique, a lot more to be expected from this artist in the future.
