At the age of 28, Jacy Dawn has already conquered what most can only dream of in their careers. Growing up in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, Jacy started singing in her church chior. At the young age of 6 she made her first live solo performance singing at her Kindergarten graduation. Jacy quickly realized that music was meant to be in her life and she began singing country music as she got older. Jacy has shared the stage with or opened for artists such as LeAnn Rimes, Reba McEntire, Wynonna, Willie Nelson, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Lorrie Morgan, Martina McBride, Jamie ONeal, Carlene Carter, Jo Dee Messina, Darius Rucker, Tanya Tucker, Kelly Lang, TG Sheppard and many others. By the time Jacy hit her teens, she was performing regularly at sporting and charity events. She was soon recognized by local politicians, and was asked to perform for the Massachusetts Democratic Convention. She was then asked to sing at other political events including a performance of the National Anthem for President Bill Clinton, A performance at the State of the State Address for the Governor of Massachusetts and a private performance for the Governor of New Hampshire. Jacy says her favorite moment in her career thus far was performing on stage with her idol, Wynonna Judd. Jacy has had the opportunity to sing at many prestigious venues including Madison Square Garden in NYC. In late 2004 and at the young age of 20, the Mayor of Lowell, Massachusetts presented Jacy with a key to the city for all of her accomplishments as a vocalist. Jacy continues to sing for charity events including the National Cancer Society, The Angel Flight Foundation, The Hurricane Katrina Foundation, the Andrew Zabierek Foundation and many others. Along with her busy music career, Jacy is also balancing a career in television. From 2005 - 2009, she co-hosted "Town Talk" showing on many local networks in New England and for the summer 2007 season, she was the official field correspondent for the Lowell Spinners affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. Jacy wrote every song on the 2 albums she has independently released and over the last year, 15 of Jacy's songs have been recorded by both national and International artists and have been featured on TV shows including Crook & Chase and The View. Several of the songs Jacy has written can be heard on the radio. She currently resides in Nashville, TN where she is pursuing a career in songwriting, music marketing and of course, singing! She is currently in the studio finalizing her 3rd album with a TBA release date!
