Modulations continues with many of the themes from Subcarriers first album Dipole Moments by attempting to balance warm melodies with angular driving beats while taking influences from the early days of of Warp "Artificial Intelligence" and Toytronic armchair techno / "IDM" as well as modern artists from labels such as Abstrakt Reflections, Raster-Noton and Stroboscopic Artefacts.
