Yemi-O also known as Yemi Oremade is a Gospel Recording Artist (singer, songwriter, musician, pianist, Music Director) who draws his inspiration from a combination of different genres. He is often regarded as an Afro Fusion singer/minister. From his African roots (while growing up in Nigeria) to his American dynamics (after moving here over 15yrs ago) and his Church background has given him different and exciting perspective on Gospel Music. He attributes his love for Music to growing up in an Anglican church, moving to a Baptist church and ending up in a Redeemed church. This has provided him with vast experiences and first-hand knowledge. Yemi-O started singing and playing the piano at a very young age and he hasn’t looked back ever since. His love for Classical contemporary jazz and African music has provided him with the platform to venture into a blended genre of Gospel music and bring it into the limelight to the Glory of God. Yemi-O‘s motto “Blending Cultures through Gospel Music” is reflected throughout his new ALBUM “The Introduction of YEMI-O” and prays that you will be blessed significantly through his project.
