Two Hearts, Serenity CD, is their second release. Richard Soaring Owl and Keith Little Grizz, known as Two Hearts, are three time recipients of the “Silver Arrow Awards”, (for 2005, 2006, and 2007. The awards are presented by Spirit Wind Records and Raven Hawk Productions,for Outstanding Contributions to Native American Music. Two Hearts musical trade mark evolved around performing duets with the Native American Flute. Although each has their own distinctive style, when playing duets, they are taking their two independent hearts and combining them together to play as one. Soaring Owl and Little Grizz perform hauntingly beautiful flute artistry that blends with the sounds of the acoustic guitar, which will easily place you in a saurian meditative state. As they performed their music during the 2005 season on the Powwow trail, they constantly tried to expand their horizons. Serenity is a result of that growth. Two Hearts had seamlessly crafted musical elements of Richard’s acoustic guitar, their chimes, rattle, and hand drum which are interwoven within the deep and haunting sounds of the Native American flute. In keeping with their initial purpose you will also hear duets being accompanying by Richard’s guitar.
