Uma is one of the New Age Music pioneers, having composed and recorded 17 albums of meditative music and guided imagery, some best sellers. Her recording "Soul of the Beloved" was considered for a Grammy nomination. Joining the award winning artist Kitaro on four compilations recordings, Uma has led the way in New Age music since 1982. All music is composed and performed by Uma on a Yamaha acoustic concert grand piano along with an Xpandi virtual synthesizer along with natural and computer generated sounds and effects. This meditative music is excellent as background as well as active listening. Great on headphones!
