ordinary elephant is a husband and wife duo, fairly new to the Houston singer-songwriter scene, who's appreciation for folk, bluegrass, Americana, and alternative rock can be heard in their unique brand of original acoustic music. Acoustic guitar supports thought-provoking lyrics that are often emphasized with vocal harmony. Either clawhammer banjo or a second guitar rounds out their sound to provide deliberate texture and dynamics which adds a rare depth.

ordinary elephant recently recorded their debut album, dusty words & cardboard boxes, at White Cat Studios with Houston-based producer Jack Saunders. Jack's wealth of recording experience and musicianship will underscore ordinary elephant's songwriting craftsmanship.
