I'm not a trendy rapper. I don't like to follow trends, I don't like to do what's hot, I simply like just doing me. I guess that's why I have little respect for music that's out now. It became more about competition than about the music. Most rappers today just want to put out music that sells and they try so hard to be better than each other they don't really focus on making real music. Don't get me wrong I want to sell music too, but I want my music to mean something, I want it to be uplifting I want it to be powerful. This is why I feel I don't share the same meaning of success as other artist do. Most look at success and see money, cars, vacations and things to that nature. I can honestly say I rather have two Men who was once shooting at each other ... Shaking hands all from the power of poetry It's more of a challenge than record sales, And a greater form of success than any materialistic accomplishments. Some would say my goal is too big and they might be right but it is definitely possible I'm just trying to pic up where PAC left off at. If we all could have that mentality, not only can we change the music industry but we can make the world a better place.
