WAKE are a grinding hardcore band from Calgary, Canada, formed in the summer of 2009. Following the release of critically acclaimed Surrounded By Human Filth 7" they've completed 2 west coast US/Canada tours in the spring and fall of 2010. With their full length album "Leeches" released in September 2011 (mixed/mastered by Scott Hull) and a mid-western/east coast US/Canada tour to follow, WAKE are keen on developing their sound, combining elements of punk, death metal and hardcore punk music, living in a van and sleeping on your floor.
