Alex Prezzano is a guitarist and songwriter from Massachusetts and based in New York City. After spending several post-college years as an active freelance musician/collaborator in New York, he has come to release his first original music as a solo artist, though backed by a band comprised of friends with respective careers in their own right. The release offers listeners their first taste of AP's signature genre-bending, melodic, guitar-driven and cinematic rock/pop songwriting. It's punk meets classical meets country meets pop. The music we hear is a result of 4 years of classical guitar study in college, combined with an early and undying love for rock music in forms ranging from punk, bluegrass, folk and country. With lyrics that are both self-reflective, self-analyzing and understatedly spiritual, the combination of musical influences has resulted in a sound that is both very familiar, and refreshingly brand new.
