For Peace Band is a roots/rock/reggae musical group based on the Island of Guam. Formed in 2011, current members include Jacob “JC” Iosia (vocals/keyboards), Freddy Bordallo (vocals/drums), Ronald “RJ” Pereira (guitar/backing vocals) and Danton Cruz (bass). For Peace Band released their first album in 2014, "Forwards Ever," which reached top 10 Reggae Albums on iTunes on its first week. The following year, the group released their "Feel This" EP. They won consecutive titles for 2014 Best Original Song and 2015 Best Reggae Band at the Island Music Awards. In addition, For Peace Band has also been blessed to share the stage with other talented international artists such as Katchafire, Sons of Zion, Ooklah the Moc, House of Shem, Magic!, Martin Campbell, Shaggy, The Green, Tribal Seeds, Josh Heinrichs, SkillinJah, Peni Dean (formerly of Natural Vibrations) and many more. The group’s musical mission is promoting peace and love with their original music worldwide. They have toured in the U.S. and Palau.
