This Album has taken on a journey, it had made me grow as an artist mentally and spiritually as a human being. One of the challenges I came across was my obligations as a Muslim to spread dawa (spread Islam to those who are unaware) while still keeping in mind that this is an album not a lecture. This entire album was done off strictly my vocals with some vocals from my producer of the album Micheal from Vienna people studios. In Islam music is forbidden, so from me coming from a musical background and career I had to come up with a way to no overstep the guidelines of Islam while still making this album attractive to the everyday listener and more importantly our youth. Rest assured this still has the same impact if not being more soulful then any other that is accompanied my musical instruments. I just look of it as i brought it back to where it started at spoken word and the voice. Inshallah (god willing) May Allah guide those and open the hearts and minds of everyone who chooses to or not to listen to my album.
