Back in 2006, longtime collaborators Andreas Jensen and Joe Killington turned Armand van Helden's 'My My My' into a smash for the second time with The Funktuary Radio Mix, which was Radio 1's second most played track of the year. So what did they do next? The inevitable string of similar remixes and reworkings? No - instead they started work on their debut album and honed their live show, in preparation for launching The Funktuary as an artist project. The album jumps genres between synth-pop, electro, soul, blues, reggae, and balearic house, with songwriting always to the fore. These tracks are Acapellas, with no effects, so these tracks are specifically for remixers.
