DarkAngle is the creative output of East London rappers Thought Thief (Sorelle James) and Snay-Kai (Steve Okoro) originally members of an underground UK Hip-Hop crew called ‘The Realm of the Unseen’ 2001-2005. Managed & produced by Nizzle Hizzle aka Neil Hannah (Manager 2001-2006 of Phi-life Cypher - featured artist of Gorillaz project one) they have performed across the underground UK Hip-Hop scene which has produced acclaimed artists such as ‘TY’, ‘Roots Manuva, ‘Blade’ & ‘Estelle’. The MC’s were ranked as ‘Best of British’ and ‘the credible Big Bruvas’ by Hip-Hop Connection (June 2003) whilst BB where at number 1 in the UK charts. During 2001-2005 as ‘Realm of the Unseen’ they performed from open mics to high capacity clubs across the UK and Europe. Sharing stages with Hip-Hop legends such as Rza (Wu –Tang Clan) Italy 2003, to supporting in London & regional shows for Jeru the Damaga, Estelle, Fallacy, & Skinnyman, Rodney P & Skitz - they have toured the toilet circuit, supported Top 40 urban artist’s.As 'DarkAngle' they are now looking to break out further with an all new set & broader musical sound.
