California based artist SKY I teams up with Ivory Coast native Chris Makonnen to deliver a single with a heavy roots influence entitled Jah Works. The song calls for us to perform “Jah Works”, a call for unity and steadfastness in our spirituality, culture, and values. Produced in the capital of Ivory Coast, Abidjan, and recorded in Oakland, California summer of 2014. SKY I and Chris Makonnen reinforce the notion that today reggae music remains a unification not a competition.
