Chad Willow is a bluegrass musician based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, specializing in banjo and piano. After a year of writing, recording, and producing this new original bluegrass banjo record, Scarecrow, was created. Released as his debut album, the Scarecrow recording blends bluegrass and old-time banjo sounds on original songs and arrangements, with lyrics reflecting Willow’s own Minnesota roots. In addition to Willow’s distinct hard grit lead vocals and banjo picking, you’ll find great instrumentalists, fiddling, picking, chopping, and strumming: Amberly Rosen on the fiddle; Tyler Jewell on acoustic guitar; DJ Phillips on acoustic guitar with his secret weapon slide; Kimberly Willow on lead and background vocals; and Chad Willow on banjo, mandolin, bass and vocals, drives this train down the tracks. The album was recorded at Outpost North Studios in Minneapolis, Minnesota and on the road in Nashville, Tennessee. Enjoy the new record!
