LAVA is the student ministry of Solid Rock Church in Columbus, GA. With a talented group of teenagers, Pastor Eric's goal in creating this self-titled album was to showcase their talent, and raise money for missionaries at the same time. For instance, the cd release party was a hit, sending 100% of all album sales to the mission organization: speedthelight.com.

The 11 original songs are heartfelt and passionate, with lyrics that are written vertically (to God). The sound is similar to worship music, but more on the edge- not your typical worship album.
