Jyosna La Trobe is an artist who has covered many styles of music over the past decade, from the experimental women’s group Turiiya in the eighties to the incorporation of exquisite Indian melodies in her later work. In her previous album “Magnificence” JYosna explores a wide range of emotions, from the grandiose dance-pop of “Don’t Forget My Love” to the down beat mood of “Pillars of Faith”. Elsewhere Jyosna comes across as a mighty choir in “Longon for You” and as a poetic story-teller in the elegant minimalism of “In My Deepest Hour” CB.
