This album is the third from Captain Henry Martin, and features rich vocals and arrangements on tunes like "Maid on the Shore" and "Farewell to Nova Scotia", as well as some simpler, classic shanties like "Haul on the Bowline".

Captain Martin is drawn from the legendary Child Ballad, and brought to life by actor/singer Christopher Leidenfrost. This character was developed at the New York Renaissance Faire in 2007, and has since recorded three solo albums, as well as a member of the band, The Roving Blades. This character also appears in the Off Broadway musical, "The Greatest Pirate Story Never Told!"
