The songwriter at the heart of \"Only Believe\" is Rose Augustine, a petite, 71-year-old grandmother of three and caregiver to her ailing husband. Her songwriting abilities, Rose firmly believes, are gifts from God for the sole purpose of encouraging listeners. It was 1980 when the makings of inspirational songs literally began coming to Rose in her sleep — sometimes as lyrics, other times as melodies, and almost always in completion by day’s end.
