From led based paint covered walls in dilapidated homes in the jungle of any ghetto U.S.A, to the mcMansions that pave the ambivalence of the one percent, these songs have been composed and lived with in contradictory ways. Whit Walker fell in love with music at 15 and has never stopped writing. These songs are typical in that they strive to sound fresh in a world where everything has been done. In bands named Pay the Coyote, Watermelon Henry, etc. Whit has been honing some of these very songs for upwards of fifteen years. Like one of his favorite artists said in song, "I am still what I meant to be, and I'm losing my mind". Hope you enjoy listening as much as much as Whit enjoyed making it.
