Emily Henry is a Virginia singer-songwriter who has been performing in the DC for over five years, playing her own personal brand of folk-influenced indie pop. Her unique picking style and strong lyrical background underlay the real showstopper: her powerful, sweet voice, which has been compared to the likes of Joni Mitchell, Patty Griffin, and Alison Krauss.

Two years in the making, Henry's debut EP "Matchsticks" showcases that angelic strength while taking her music down a slightly darker, more mysterious road.
