Cordula is a singer-songwriter from Severn, Maryland who at a young age dreamed of becoming a singer and a doctor. Her love of music was inspired by early exposure to artists such as Michael Jackson and Tina Turner and her desire to heal from an innate love of people and a natural gift to attract people with her easy going nature and likeability. Her family bought her first Fisher Price medical kit and microphone at the age of 3 and have continued to encourage her pursuits ever since.

Cordula began dance lessons at the age of 3, singing lessons at the age of 4 and classical piano at 8. She began songwriting during this time and expanded her musical training to include jazz, gospel, and formal courses at the Peabody Institute of Music. In college she completed bilingual training in Spanish, courses in music performance, and began recording demos for local songwriters. Soon after she purchased an electric keyboard with a microphone and began writing her own music while attending medical school. She continued purchasing equipment to build her own studio and began working with other writers, producers, and musicians to find her own genre and her own voice.

Now, having completed her training as a physician while perfecting her craft in music, she has decided to fully pursue her childhood dream of becoming a pop star devoting her time to her first love. Her sounds can be likened to Amel Larrieux, Adele, and Mariah Carey; you can't help but be lured in by her soft, sweet and breathy vibrato, powerfully belted notes, and an impressive range that make her voice both beautiful and distinctive. It will be difficult to place her music in a specific genre as it contains influences of pop, R&B, hip-hop, latin, and neo soul. She hopes to reach millions across the world with her love-inspired songs (some even bilingual) and plans on utilizing her background in healthcare and her desire to heal by using portions of her sales towards the creation of a free national healthcare system for the under-insured.
