I really do hope you'll enjoy this record! With all of the styles presented here, I'm hoping to share my musical journey with you. It's a journey that started with me singing in the children's choir at my church, continued through my studies of great composers like Mozart, Puccini, and Handel, and is colored by my experience as an African American woman. The beautiful thing about music is that it has the power to knock down walls and expectations. It unifies and brings people together. I hope that this music can be a blessing to you in that way as well. It's already been such a blessing for me. My faith is stronger and my love for God grows every day. May the words of these timeless hymns and Negro spirituals bring you peace and joy.
