The band Samgita was formed to sing and play mantras, in what is called a Kirtan, led by Rafael Bogoni. The musicians joined the band little by little, and eventually it took its current form. In order to raise the vibration of the mind through mantras and music, the group has a unique musical vocabulary, due to its Brazilian influences. The songs are composed in a simple fashion yet they have sophisticated arrangements, devised in such a way so as to bring peace to those who sing and listen to them.
