Keturah was born and raised in South County, Rhode Island. At the age of 14, Keturah picked up her first guitar, a Goya, belonging to her mother. Keturah began writing lyrics at age 16 and at 22 began her performance career at local open mics. Keturah broke onto the Providence music scene in 2005, opening for local artists such as Backy Chace, Marcy Lang, Heather Rose and the Drama, The Candace Brooks Band, and many others. In 2006 Keturah opened for nationally touring artist Pamela Means and in 2008 opened for Sirsy. Keturah continues to play locally at the Providence, RI venues Girlspot @ Club Gallery, Joyce's Pub, The Ocean Mist, Tazza Cafe, Jerky's Live Music Hall, and The Brooklyn Tea and Coffee House. Keturah's influences vary greatly, reaching from Concrete Blonde, to the Dixie Chicks, to Ani Difranco, and everything in between.
