简介
These Christmas songs are some of my favorites, and maybe yours. This didn’t start out to necessarily be a sing-along CD, but several friends of mine say it works for them, even The Christmas Song, which is played in a key low enough for many who’ve lost their high vocal range, or never had one. Jingle Bells is done as a slow swing tune. You could sing it as an old-style "torch" song. A warning about Silent Night – it’s in the old hymnal key (Bb) which is usually too high for most of us (try singing an octave lower on the high parts). This also didn't start out to only be background dinner music, either, but some friends use it that way (but then, some of them play James Brown or the New York Philharmonic as background music). All this leads me to say that whether you listen or sing along, or multitask and talk and listen while having dinner, I hope you'll like this recording, and always have a Merry Christmas.
