This lovely song was written by Hollywood Joe Kelley Jr., and adapted by Jose Suicidio for the web series "Henry's Kitchen", the Thanksgiving episode. Kelley says he saw Fred Willard in the gutter and assumed he was down and out, so he offered to buy him a cup of coffee. Willard responded by saying that he was fine, he was just waiting to go onstage at the comedy club. This served as the inspiration for this heartfelt song about the ups and downs of comedy.
