Jordan Michael Porter was born and raised in the small town of Janesville, Wisconsin. Jordan was just a young boy when he discovered his first instrument, “ his voice.” It didn’t take him long after this discovery to began displaying his talent through school choir groups and school musicals. Throughout elementary school and middle school Jordan was stricly a vocalist but deep down was yearning for something much more. It wasn’t until his sophomore year of high school when he bought his first acoustic guitar that he truly discovered his passion for music and could finally begin to assemble the missing pieces of his puzzle. “The guitar gave me a voice! I could always sing, but now I could finally begin to unscramble the mess of words and melodies that lay scattered throughout my brain. Writing came natural to me, I simply tell a story. I just want people to be able to relate to my songs, I tend to write about subjects we deal with on a daily basis. Everyday is a different journey, therefor everyday we face deserves its own theme song. I live, think, and dream music! Music is the language spoken by the soul, If my songs can impact just one person, for just one moment, then I have succeeded!" After creating an acousticly based album “Sloppy Copy” his Junior year of high school, Jordan decided he wanted to further pursue a career in the music Industry. He enrolled as a student at Madison Media Institute’s School for Recording and Engineering and graduated with an assosiate"s degree in Recording and Music Technology. All music and lyrics were written and composed by Jordan Michael. Jordan Michael also produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered all the tracks on his 16 song Cd.
