简介
When someone assumes the commitment of being part of the musical traditions in a so rich and diverse nation as it is Colombia, it’s a work that requires a deep love for our music as well as an immense capacity for taking on and overcome the challenge of giving many new and different ideas, feelings and musical procedures, achieving in the very same way to remain in the preferences of amateurs and connoisseurs, which are deeply rooted in the beauty of centennial uses. Entretejido has this challenge as its motto, and is offering us this magnificent piece of their work, where the musical and life experiences of three young friends are immersed in the most pure forms of our Andean Colombian music, with the most sincere feelings of love and respect for our common history, without purely academic or acrobatic ambitions. In the same way, this group plenty honors its name, being successfully able to weave the rough thread of Colombo – Venezuelan Plain land’s Merengue with the color ends of the Andean Bambuco, they also knit in the programmatic way many landscapes and situations using the power of the crochet hook of Andean sounds, and they can intertwine the shaded yarn of the Plain land Bandola’s voice in the delicate fabric of the Tiple and Guitar sounds. I’d like to thank Entretejido for this gentle invitation that they extend to all of us to enjoy this new sound adventure and for the great honor (and responsibility) that entails to summarize in two humble paragraphs about sixty minutes of young lives told within a superb traditional clef.
