Elissa Franceschi's new EP 'Devoid of Rue' marks her 4th independent release as as artist. Best described as gritty, heart renting Pop-Rock sitting somewhere in-between of Adele and Kelly Clarkson, Elissa has been writing and self producing/releasing music for the last 5 years. Hailed by One Republic's Ryan Tedder as an artist to watch out for she has been praised by Absolute and BBC Radio 1, performed at Brixton Academy and Wembley arena- al this without label backing.

This new collection of songs shows an evolution of sound, expect honest lyrics, soaring strings, epic drums, the swells of guitars and the tinkling of pianos. 'All These Days' the country pop summer hit forgiving an old love, 'Ocean's the raw piano ballad that recounts a story all too familiar for many. The rocky foot-stomping 'Outside my Body' is the perfect party track. Followed by the ethereal 'Chasing Something' which discusses the desire to see the world and releasing all those worries that burden us all. Finally the epic and dramatic 'Dust' that retells the end of a love and the anguish of letting go.
