Named by One Republic’s Ryan Tedder as the one to watch, 23 Year old Elissa Franceschi is an electric performer with a distinctive powerhouse vocal. At one moment full of quirky humor and passion, the next delicate whisperings of love, life and discovery-she has been making a name for herself slowly but surely for the last few years, through grass roots promotion and haunting live performances. Having previously performed in some of the UK’s most famous venues (Brixton Academy, The Roundhouse, Astoria and Wembley Arena) Elissa took a year out from the live scene to concentrate on writing, arranging and recording 12 songs for her new album ‘Into the light’. Working with renowned rock producer John Mitchell has given the popular ballad heavy work from previous albums ‘Touch’ and ‘I hold my breath…’ a fresh edge to surprise and shock listeners. As Elissa prepares to launch her solo career as an independent artist, she also delves into songwriting for others, being teamed up with ‘The Invisible Men’ (production team of Jessie J and Sugababes fame) to co-write for other artists.
