Gene Rodemich专辑介绍：by Scott YanowGene Rodemich led a fine dance band in the early '20s based in St. Louis and (starting in 1923) New York. The private Starlight Productions label reissued all of the recordings by Rodemich on six CDs. The packaging is very primitive, but the basic information is included. Unfortunately, the jazz content is quite light on this CD, but the 12-piece band (who does not have any recognizable names) is solid and the ensembles are well-played. Among the tunes performed are "On the Isle of Wicki-Wacki-Woo," "Oh Sister, Ain't That Hot," "Wolverine Blues," and "She Wouldn't Do What I Asked Her to Do." Definitely for selected tastes.
