Back to Basics is a fusion of folk- pop, alternative melodic sounds, with a hint of soulful vocal arrangments. This single is an outcome of my life journey. I named it such because it represents the message The Lord gave to me. The idea is that we have to go back to basics as individuals, as a church, and ultimately back to the foundations of the Gospel. After all, I think that’s what it’s really all about- a true relationship with God. I think we can get caught up in ministry, and loose track of the bigger picture, and in the process neglect our relationship with God. Revelation 2:4 comes to mind.” “But I have this against you: You have departed from your first love.”
