Michael Buffington Jr also known as Maceo Blue is a renaissance man in every sense of the word. This Bay Area product, born and raised in San Francisco’s Mission District has worked as a concept artist in the gaming industry and has also worked for the likes of Activision and Lucasfilm Animation. Unsurprisingly his creativity extends beyond the visual. During the 60’s and 70’s his father was a musician during a time when the Bay Area was instrumental in the development of the funk sound and for that reason Maceo was surrounded by music at an early age.
