Gavin Davis is a Christian Contemporary/Gospel solo artist, musician, writer, and producer. He released his first project "I'll Be Your Minister" in hopes to inspire and restore the hearts of God’s people to do His will. Currently, the “I’ll Be Your Minister” Music Video appears on Gospel Music Channel. Gavin has shared the stage with many of todays popular Gospel and Christian Contemporary artist. He has also been blessed to have the album reach Sweden, Japan, and London. The “I’ll Be Your Minister” album is available on iTunes and other major digital distribution websites. Gavin is passionate and careful about making sure the music that God has given him speaks to the Christian and the unbeliever simultaneously. Gavin believes that all music should have substance that points to God, Jesus, and Salvation. Through this ministry, God has used Gavin to sing and speak to all generations to inspire them to do the work of the Lord. Walking in his deep musical roots, Gavin became a trumpet/euphonium player and an experienced percussionist with a background in concert, jazz and marching band performance. Gavin wrote his first song at the age of 18 after forming a groups with some college friends called “Blessed” and God has opened up the scrolls of Heaven ever since. While in college, Gavin recorded two albums with “Chosen”, a scholarship singing ministry team at Liberty University. After graduating with a business degree, Gavin was called to the preaching ministry in 2006. Since January 2008, Gavin was the worship leader at Prayer of Faith Temple Church of God in Christ in Lynchburg, Virginia and he was the choir director for Lovely Zion Baptist Church in Bedford, Virginia for three years prior. Currently, Gavin is a soloist and a praise team/choir member at Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia. He has been on a number of praise teams, choirs, and groups throughout his musical career; Gavin has also participated in many studio recordings as a featured artist or background singer, a musician, and a producer. “Just like the Word of God, God has inspired my music to bless people, young and old, for His glory. I believe my music needs to be heard because there is a remnant of people who will need to be encouraged, lifted up, and even saved through what God allows them to hear.
