Gilead Lake Family Reunion - From multi million selling composer Randy Albright. Composed, performed and produced entirely by the artist himself.The second CD release in the Gilead Lake Polka Series. In keeping with the first release, “Gilead Lake Polka Party”, the artist/composer uniquely continues with the stories of his youth written in unique concept album form. Depicting the Michigan life and times at the Ratkowski cottage at Gilead Lake that became the performing platform and spring board for a number of Michigan polka bands.Though the artist/composer cannot read music and his musicianship is limited to the acoustic guitar only, every other instrument on every song, he plays free hand one note at a time on the Korg triton work station keyboard, lending an insight to his unorthodox ability and uniquely calibrated musical mind rarely present in other artist/composers where their recorded music is all played by a variety of master recording session musicians. This is the second polka project for veteran Country Songwriter and multi-genre music artist Randy Albright whose songs have graced the voices of million selling recording artists including the likes of Vince Gill, Alabama, Diamond Rio, Ricky Skaggs, Emmylou Harris, George Jones, Kathy Mattea, Alan Jackson, Nicolette Larson and many many more.
