简介
The 22nd release on Stories In Trance, and this time out it is White Motion with his debut original Oxygen. White Motion- Lithuanian Rytis Gedvilas- burst onto the scene back in September 2011 with his superb remix of DJ Faisi's You & Me (SIT #12) and since then has backed this up with the truly awesome remix of Airborne Angel's Belt Of Orion (SIT #19) but here he goes it alone for the first time with Oxygen. Some smart progressive touches and a delightful lead melody is set against a tough bassline and some tech inspired mids to leave us with a real quality track. With clear talent and some decent support for his work, watch out as Rytis continues to build his impressive production career and his next original- Solis- is due out later this year on Stories In Trance. Putting in shifts on remix duty this time are DJ Faisi and Max Stealthy. First is Pakistan's finest DJ Faisi (Faisal Maqbool) with a sound that is becoming definitively his own. On the back of some fine work for Stories In Trance, here he delivers a forceful rethink of White Motion's original, with some imaginative layering and creative usage of the original's components combining to offer up this potent and emotive remix. Secondly comes another outing for Stories In Trance's rising star, Max Stealthy. Polish producer Max 'Stealthy' Szalko is tearing it up of recent, managing to balance production volume so as not to impact on the quality of his work, yet somehow finding an endless scope to his creative boundaries. Max keeps it fairly simple here, not detracting too much from the clean lines of the original, however he makes some subtle yet effective adjustments to really let this remix come into its own. Another solid offering from Stealthy. Stories In Trance aims to uncover the most talented and imaginative new producers and team up with some of the more established names in the scene to work together in evolving the sound. This release sticks firmly to our philosophy of not only showcasing a diverse range of sounds within trance, but also offering balanced releases by seeking out those that can interpret the original in a different way. As our story continues, we hope that you enjoy our twenty-second release! Kind regards and happy days! Matt Carter / Thomas Carter Stories In Trance
